WXA – 50 MusicCast is a high-quality power amplifier from Yamaha that supports for high-res audio formats including DSD 2.8/5.6 MHz, WAV/FLAC 192 kHz and ALAC 96 kHz. The compressed Music Enhancer restores lost data from compressed music formats such as MP3 and AAC. The direct Mode bypasses DSP to avoid down-sampling and the volume-adaptive EQ automatically adjusts treble/bass balance to provide a uniform listening experience at different volumes. Its 48-bit digital volume control provides much greater precision and quality than that of conventional digital or analogue controls. It also has a low distortion and high Signal-to-Noise Ratio along with Low Jitter Network Module which minimizes noise across various network and Bluetooth sources. The WXA – 50 is capable of driving a wide variety of speakers including low impedance models down to 4 ohms and its advanced bass extension delivers a more powerful low frequency response - great for compact or in-ceiling speakers.
