Wipro Limited now equipped with Sennheiser ADN-D1

Indian Information Technology Services corporation, Wipro Limited, headquartered in Bengaluru, India, recently created a panel discussion and plenary area with multiple conference systems for any situation. The need was to install a twin-loudspeaker system that guarantees a homogenous sound level in the meeting room. For this purpose, Consulting & Solutions Integration Company FlamencoTech deployed Sennheisher‘s digital delegate unit - ADN D1 which comes with a super-cardioid capsule that attenuates unwanted ambient noise efficiently. The entire project was focused around providing maximum operational safety with integrative technology and more flexibility. Impressively, FlamencoTech and Sennheiser India managed to plan, supply, commission, and test all these systems in a short span of three months.

The project saw the deployment of three sets of 10 Sennheiser ADN-D1 delegate units and 1 chairman unit of the conferencing systems. The Sennheiser ADN-D1 delegate units come with advanced directional microphones for a relaxed speaking position with twin loudspeakers for comfortable listening. The AXLR Mix minus mode also prevents irritating echo effects in conferences with remote participants. The system monitoring is done conveniently via PC software or by a media control protocol through an app. Furthermore, conference system is equipped with effective feedback suppression which can be individually combined with microphones that ensure speech intelligibility. The digital discussion central unit ADN CU1 powers and controls up to 40 (depending on cable length) connected delegate and chairperson units. It offers full configuration in a quick and easy way over the menu display in several languages. Alternatively, the integrated software package ‘Conference Manager’ can be used directly on the CU1 by connecting a screen, mouse and keyboard and it also consists of a pre-installed control software and open media control protocol over Ethernet. The low-noise fan in the central unit can be used directly in the meeting without causing disturbance.

The cascadable ADN PS Power Supply allows the extension of the conference and discussion system to up to 400 conference units. The digital chairperson unit ADN C1 offers high speech-intelligibility in a modern design. The goose-neck microphone is equipped with a super-cardioid capsule that attenuates unwanted ambient noise efficiently. A twin-loudspeaker system guarantees a homogenous sound level in the meeting room. The cabling of the units, which is done by CAT5 cables and hidden connections can be optionally secured with strain reliefs for fixed installations. Even with the extremely tight deadlines, quality was not compromised, and great attention was paid on detailing. This thereby resulted in ensuring outstanding speech intelligibility irrespective of the size/group of the meeting.
